Details

This 1990 Land Rover Defender 110 was imported into the United States by Alpine Element, and underwent a light restoration, prior to our ownership. We usually restore our Defenders ourselves, and design, and brainstorm our own ideas. However this Defender we purchased in this condition, and did a few small addition ourselves. Lil Trot is powered by a bullet proof 2.5 liter diesel engine and a 5 speed manual transmission.

Exterior

The aluminum body has been repainted in Land Rover color code, Beluga Black. The new paint compliments the modifications done at this time very well. We had a custom roll cage fabricated and installed at this time, along with an aftermarket roof rack, and a new puma style hood and KBX grill. A front brush guard was installed also. LED Lighting was installed at this time as well. We upgraded the wheels and tires to a beefier set.

Interior

The interior has been reupholstered in red and black leather, for the front and rear of the vehicle. The original dashboard has been replaced with a Puma Dashboard, and an aftermarket heater was installed as well which does a superior job at heating the interior cabin. The entire interior has been reupholstered in red and black leather prior to our ownership

Mechanical

Power is from a 2.5-liter diesel inline-four driving all four wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox and a two-speed transfer case. We have service records for some of the work completed, which includes a new battery, a new alternator, and wiring harness.
