Details
National Geographic is a 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 which we imported and performed a full restoration on this Defender, and have transformed it into the beautiful Rover that she is today. This 110 is capable of being daily driven, has no rust anywhere on the truck, and is our first build we’ve done, out of many, many builds. This Defender was intended to be a simple, but clean Defender retaining a classic look.
Exterior
The aluminum body has been stripped apart, and repainted in Aegean Blue. While the truck was being repainted, we had the custom roll cage fabricated in house, and prepared to be fitted onto the body. While this was taking place, we also had a heavy duty winch installed on the front as well, and had an new OEM grill, lights, and hood put on as well.
Interior
The interior has been tastefully upgraded with navy blue leather upholstery featuring diamond stitching, and a color matched steering wheel.
Mechanical
The 2.5 liter 4 cylinder was serviced before importing into the United States, and the carburetor was rebuilt once it was landed in the United States. We had the transmission serviced as well, and a new clutch was installed as well as rebuilding of the entire transmission.
