Details
Project Comet is a Land Rover Defender 110 which received a very extensive, frame off cosmetic and mechanical restoration. Project Comet is also powered by a very desirable automatic transmission and a 300 TDI Turbo Diesel engine.
Exterior
The aluminum body has been taken apart, disassembled, and new body panels were ordered. We had the doors, hood, roof, and body replaced with new panels. At that point we installed a Kahn Design body kit, panoramic Masai rear windows, new wheels, new tires, and a new front grill. The truck presents very nicely.
Interior
The interior has been reupholstered in black, with modern upgrades added to the interior as well. Modern upgrades include power windows, power locks, air conditioning, back up camera, bluetooth audio, and more!
Mechanical
Power is from a 300TDI engine driving all four wheels through an automatic transmission.
